Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Duset kicked off to start the match. Linköping's Joakim Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. August Hjortberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Duset's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Harald Nyberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Hjortberg having to make a save. After 10 minutes, Niclas Hedling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hög Svans Föring and the Linköping players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Hög Svans Föring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Hedling to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Åke Tidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Månsson was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Douglas Duset took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Hjortberg. August Hjortberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Linköping's August Hjortberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Linköping's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Duset came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Svanström during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arvid Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvid Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, one of Hög Svans Föring:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hög Svans Föring. Holger Delin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Stigsson in the 34th minute of play forced Hög Svans Föring's goalkeeper Fredric Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Nyberg in the 40th minute of play forced Linköping's goalkeeper August Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 46th minute of the match Östen Ekblom completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Östen Ekblom a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Hög Svans Föring booed when Linköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Ekblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Linköping players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hög Svans Föring were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Björk to make the kick off. August Hjortberg came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Hög Svans Föring's Douglas Duset. But to his dismay, Douglas Duset quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Delin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, August Hjortberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Douglas Duset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Harald Nyberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of August Hjortberg. Harald Nyberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 65th minute, Harald Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Duset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. August Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Linköping's goalkeeper August Hjortberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Duset. August Hjortberg was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Harald Nyberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harald Nyberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When Hög Svans Föring's Douglas Duset in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Wallin in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Douglas Duset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hög Svans Föring's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Duset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
