Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gunnarskog's Jim Ahlgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jim Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Ström having to interfere. Jan Ström came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gunnarskog's Rudolf Östlund. But to his dismay, Rudolf Östlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 11 minutes, Tomas Österberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orrefors and the Gunnarskog players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Österberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog's Eddie Larsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jan Ström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. A collision led to Orrefors getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Orvar Lundkvist hit a great ball. If Jim Ahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Erik Frisck struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Mattias Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orrefors. Ingvar Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Orrefors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Bengtsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars-Erik Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Emil Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Bengtsson in the 40th minute of play forced Gunnarskog's goalkeeper Mattias Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Ahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Östlund got free with Jan Ström in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars-Erik Frisck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gunnarskog booed when Orrefors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnarskog's Rudolf Östlund got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Emil Bagge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnarskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orrefors the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Gunnarskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bagge to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Östlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Lundkvist's late challenge caught a Gunnarskog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvar Lundkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Orrefors got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Lundkvist. Jim Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Orrefors's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Ahlgren came free, but Jan Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Gunnarskog's Jim Ahlgren made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Ström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarl Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Lars-Erik Frisck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Petter Bjursell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnarskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orrefors the free kick. A collision led to Gunnarskog getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Petter Bjursell hit a great ball. Jan Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Östlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Jim Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Östlund in the 90th minute of play. When Jim Ahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gunnarskog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Ahlgren couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gunnarskog fully deserved thier win.
