The audience was convinced that Harry Bergsten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Sandberg was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Jim Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Åhlberg having to interfere. Rudolf Östlunds short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Ralf Åhlberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvin Andberg during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Edvin Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Emmaboda getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. In the 98th minute of the match, Rudolf Östlund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ralf Åhlberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
