The supporters of Stockholm City FC booed when Södra Sandby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Stockholm City FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Nyqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Södra Sandby IK's Robert Nyberg. 1-0. Robert Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cafer Tanpınar in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Södra Sandby IK's Edvard Björkqvist got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ali Cafer Tanpınar took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Robert Nyberg to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Nils-Åke Vallander made the kick off in the second half.
