The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Percy Penha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hjalmar Abelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Östra Ryd got a freekick which was hit by Harald Andreasson. If Percy Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Östra Ryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Boman to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Erik Termander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Östra Ryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brego In Jellit FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Östra Ryd's Erik Termander got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Brego In Jellit FC defense, Erik Termander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Abelsson. The Brego In Jellit FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Abelsson should have stopped the shot. Östra Ryd's Yiğit Can Altunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Östman in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Erik Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Ryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Termander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Termander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Östman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, John Boman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yiğit Can Altunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Brego In Jellit FC's Yiğit Can Altunay threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Edvin Skytt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 62 minutes into the match, Percy Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Abelsson. Brego In Jellit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Percy Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Abelsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Erik Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östra Ryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Termander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Abelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 74 minutes, Percy Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Ryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Östra Ryd's Percy Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Percy Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Abelsson having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Erik Termander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Abelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. John Boman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Karl Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjalmar Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Penha in the 89th minute of the match. Erik Termander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hjalmar Abelsson having to make a save. Percy Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 98 played minutes Brego In Jellit FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Kvarnström. When the referee ended the match the Östra Ryd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
