Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leif Bolander kicked off to start the match. Mikael Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Klint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Wennerquist in the 5th minute of play forced BK30's goalkeeper Jörgen Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Wikander charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verner Wikander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes BK30 got a freekick which was hit by Verner Wikander. 9 minutes into the match, Leif Bolander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikael Göransson. Ashington FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Bolander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Timmy Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ashington FC defense, Karl Blanck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Göransson. The Ashington FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Göransson should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Wennerquist got free with Jörgen Söderquist in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Verner Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Jonsson in the 31st minute of play forced Ashington FC's goalkeeper Mikael Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BK30's Victor Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of BK30 booed when Ashington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Juhlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikael Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Bolander in the 47th minute of play. After the first half BK30 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Timmy Wennerquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Wennerquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Söderquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in BK30's zone, Hannes Juhlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Söderquist came out of the goal and Hannes Juhlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ashington FC's Mikael Göransson got control of the ball when Victor Jonsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. BK30's Mattias Beckman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikael Göransson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mikael Göransson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Victor Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. Mikael Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Bolander in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Ashington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Juhlin to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, BK30's Mikael Göransson threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pontus Klint, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the match, Ashington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Klint came free, but Mikael Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Pontus Klint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Ashington FC got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Juhlin. Mikael Göransson was a little too slow when Leif Bolander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-3. After 94 minutes, Hannes Juhlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashington FC and the BK30 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Hannes Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Göransson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Verner Wikander. BK30 played a much better game than Ashington FC and deserved their victory. The Ashington FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
