An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Apelquist in the 25th minute of play forced Atletico Florenzi FC's goalkeeper Leif Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Slavia Uppsala fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Slavia Uppsala's Ian Apelquist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Apelquist to make the kick off. Ian Apelquists short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Leif Strömberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 82 minutes into the game, Atletico Florenzi FC's Jerry Kjellqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Spets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. In the 86th minute, Kalle Lönn fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Ian Apelquist sped through Atletico Florenzi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leif Strömberg. Arvid Brenner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Strömberg made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Arvid Brenner sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Slavia Uppsala left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atletico Florenzi FC.
