The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Sandberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Bolander in the 35th minute of play forced Råå IK's goalkeeper Roland Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, BK30's Victor Jonsson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Råå IK's zone, Leif Bolander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Sandberg came out of the goal and Leif Bolander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Bivall to strike the kick off in the second half. Roland Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Bolander, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute.
