In the 14th minute Stefan Mogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Runberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marbäcks Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fred Levander was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Marbäcks Boys's zone, Stig-Arne Högberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Runberg came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Högberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Mogren struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Valter Runberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal. In the 31st match minute, Marbäcks Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. Valter Runberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Arsenal's Stefan Mogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Runberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Arsenal's Fred Levander got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valter Runberg. Oscar Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Ennegren in the 79th minute of play. Valter Runberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Jakobsson in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes, William Karlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal and the Marbäcks Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arsenal! Oscar Sjögren had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Anders Möller's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Maximilian Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Ekeroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kvalfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marbäcks Boys's Valter Runberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Mogren in the 95th minute of play. Oscar Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Stefan Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
