When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jaroslaw Majkowski sped through Lervik IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henric Ahlkvist. When William Mogren fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lervik IF's protests and gave William Mogren a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Lervik IF got a freekick which was hit by William Mogren. In the 14thth minute of the game Jaroslaw Majkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lervik IF's Henric Ahlkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Lervik IF defense, Jaroslaw Majkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henric Ahlkvist. The Lervik IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henric Ahlkvist should have stopped the shot. If Gösta Olenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaroslaw Majkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Jaroslaw Majkowski made a precise shot to the right of Henric Ahlkvist. Lervik IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 27th match minute, Dynamo Strandnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Frisk to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Jaroslaw Majkowski made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Lervik IF's Henric Ahlkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Brummer having to interfere. Nikolai Springby scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henric Ahlkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaroslaw Majkowski to make the kick off. Henric Ahlkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrie Mühren in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Lervik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Kellbom came free, but Henric Ahlkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was Karl-Oskar Bodin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Dynamo Strandnäs's corner Karl-Oskar Bodin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henric Ahlkvist quite easily take care of the ball. Rutger Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Henric Ahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Strandnäs. 69 minutes into the match, Gerrie Mühren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henric Ahlkvist. Lervik IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrie Mühren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Rutger Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Henric Ahlkvist was a little too slow when Jaroslaw Majkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-9. In the 92nd match minute, Lervik IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match, Gerrie Mühren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henric Ahlkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dynamo Strandnäs were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Lervik IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Oskar Bodin took the corner. Karl-Oskar Bodin made a great header on Dynamo Strandnäs's corner, it was just that Lervik IF's Henric Ahlkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Henric Ahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jaroslaw Majkowski sent off a good shot on target. Dynamo Strandnäs's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
