Jörgen Gustafsson's late challenge caught a BR Saints's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Gustafsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes, BR Saints's Christer Sundberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Magnusson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BR Saints reached it. If Bernt Stigsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Anders Wennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tobias Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Holmgren got free with Tobias Magnusson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Wennersten in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, BR Saints's Sven-Oskar Hurtig got a free kick in the 46th minute. Sten Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bernt Stigsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Magnusson having to interfere. If Adam Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in WILDA BOLLAR IF's zone, Bernt Stigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Magnusson came out of the goal and Bernt Stigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Mats Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BR Saints's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Bengtsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Villiam Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Sten Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Bernt Stigsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Conny Giliusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Magnusson came out of the goal and Adam Wennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, WILDA BOLLAR IF's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Wennersten came free, but Tobias Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernt Stigsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
