Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Håkan Bergendahl took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bernt Stigsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Mellin having to make a save. BR Saints's Bernt Stigsson got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Sten Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Stigsson in the 15th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Håkan Bergendahl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sten Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Mellin having to interfere. If Håkan Bergendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Mikael Snäll notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BR Saints's Conny Giliusson. Conny Giliusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vessigebro's Ernst Björkkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conny Giliusson. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Bernt Stigsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Mellin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Vessigebro's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Wennersten came free, but Jonatan Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Wennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Wennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Adam Wennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Snäll struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Conny Giliusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vessigebro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Snäll in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Giliusson saved BR Saints from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Stigsson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to BR Saints getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bernt Stigsson hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Håkan Bergendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Giliusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Stigsson in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes BR Saints got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Hurtig. Conny Giliusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Bergendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Mikael Snäll came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Vessigebro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Snäll couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in BR Saints's zone, Mikael Snäll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Giliusson came out of the goal and Mikael Snäll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conny Giliusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Bergendahl in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Vessigebro's Jonatan Mellin got control of the ball when Sten Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mikael Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vessigebro's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Snäll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Giliusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Håkan Bergendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Giliusson having to interfere. Mikael Snäll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Stigsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Håkan Bergendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BR Saints's Conny Giliusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conny Giliusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Snäll in the 83rd minute of play. If Mikael Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BR Saints's zone, Håkan Bergendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Giliusson came out of the goal and Håkan Bergendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vessigebro's Mikael Snäll in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BR Saints's goalie prevented a goal. Håkan Bergendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Giliusson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vessigebro's Michael Åberg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Simon Wahlström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Mellin. Vessigebro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vessigebro had played much better football throughout.
