The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Leonardo Blomkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaxholm and the Landvetter players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ronny Ström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vaxholm's Robert Kvarnström. Robert Kvarnström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the match, Vaxholm's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Ström came free, but Robert Kvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Vaxholm's Joel Lundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andy Björnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joel Lundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Andy Björnsson made a huge save. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vaxholm! Joel Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesper Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Kvarnström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hampus Bålström's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Vaxholm getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Karl-Erik Hedin hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Hampus Bålström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Kvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Kvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Bålström in the 42nd minute of play. Joel Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesper Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Landvetter were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

During the 51st minute of the match Leonardo Blomkvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leonardo Blomkvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 52 played minutes Vaxholm got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Blomkvist. Joel Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Björnsson having to interfere. Landvetter's Andy Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Lundberg in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 played minutes, Landvetter's Kjell-Arne Stenqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Kvarnström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Landvetter reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Vaxholm's goalkeeper Robert Kvarnström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Ström. Joel Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andy Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Kennet Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hampus Bålström in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Kvarnström saved Vaxholm from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Landvetter eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
