In the 26th minute of the match, Sten Holmgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andy Björnsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fritz Simonsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conny Giliusson. BR Saints's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Conny Giliusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Bålström in the 33rd minute of the match. Landvetter's Ronny Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Ronny Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Giliusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes, Landvetter's Robin Ingemarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conny Giliusson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Landvetter reached it. After 46 minutes of play, Landvetter's Hampus Bålström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Giliusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The BR Saints players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Landvetter were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Stigsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hampus Bålström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Giliusson having to interfere. If Ronny Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Landvetter's Ronny Ström came free and shot a quick shot against goal 57 minutes in the game, fortunately Conny Giliusson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by BR Saints's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robin Ingemarsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Landvetter's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Landvetter booed when BR Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Stigsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Ströms short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Conny Giliusson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Ronny Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sten Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, George Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernt Stigsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Landvetter's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
