In the 4th minute, Benny Ellen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Conny Giliusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benny Ellen's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Sonny Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Manfred Asserlindh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Svensk to maneuver through the defense. Sten Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Benny Ellen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BR Saints's Conny Giliusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mats Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BR Saints's protests and gave Mats Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BR Saints getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mats Bengtsson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Oskar Hurtig during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BR Saints! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Bennis. Benny Svensk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conny Giliusson. 0-2. Mats Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Benny Ellen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The BR Saints players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bennis were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benny Ellen was the one to do the kick off. Benny Ellen succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. A hard shot 59 in the game by Benny Ellen from a close distance when the talented Conny Giliusson managed to make a qualified save. BR Saints's players were relieved. Benny Ellen took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conny Giliusson. Conny Giliusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Manfred Asserlindh got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Sven-Oskar Hurtig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Benny Ellen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Bennis fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Bennis's Sonny Jonasson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benny Ellen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Conny Giliusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Benny Svensk hit a great ball. BR Saints's Conny Giliusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save BR Saints from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Ellen got free with Conny Giliusson in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Benny Ellen came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bennis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benny Ellen couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, BR Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Benny Ellen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Giliusson having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Benny Ellen in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 95 played minutes BR Saints got a freekick which was hit by Adam Wennersten. Bennis played a much better game than BR Saints and deserved their victory. The BR Saints players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
