Jonatan Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Viberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Tommy Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Mellin having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Tommy Viberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vessigebro's Jonatan Mellin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Vessigebro's goal looked a bit too open when Alkis Drinkwater came free, but Jonatan Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vessigebro defense, Theodor Arvesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Mellin. The Vessigebro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Mellin should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Alkis Drinkwater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vessigebro's Jonatan Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkis Drinkwater in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vessigebro defense, Theodor Arvesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Mellin. Gio Winters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Björkkvist in the 33rd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Fk Rats's Tommy Viberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Mellin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Jon Hellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After a rather tough play, Fk Rats's Gösta Månsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gio Winters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute Theodor Arvesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vessigebro's Mikael Snäll in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fk Rats's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Åberg during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Viberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonatan Mellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Vessigebro's Jonatan Mellin got control of the ball when Alkis Drinkwater tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Theodor Arvesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Mellin. Vessigebro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theodor Arvesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Gio Winters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Håkan Bergendahl's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Fk Rats's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
