In the 16th minute Hampus Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Mellin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Snäll in the 18th minute of play forced Al Shorta FC's goalkeeper Malte Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Håkan Bergendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Al Shorta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vessigebro a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. After some careless play in the Vessigebro defense, Hampus Berggren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Mellin. The Vessigebro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Mellin should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Håkan Bergendahl made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Al Shorta FC's Hampus Berggren made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Mellin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hampus Berggren took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Mellin. Jonatan Mellin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. A collision led to Vessigebro getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Casper Kristiansson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Al Shorta FC's zone, Ernst Björkkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malte Lundqvist came out of the goal and Ernst Björkkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Snäll scored 6-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malte Lundqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Håkan Bergendahl notched a goal, 7-4, to the right of Al Shorta FC's Malte Lundqvist. Malte Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th match minute, Al Shorta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Smitt to maneuver through the defense. Malte Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Bergendahl in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Michael Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vessigebro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al Shorta FC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Johnny Fågel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vessigebro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
