In the 2nd minute, Kenny Fågel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Arvin Ahlfors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyckeby FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Ahlfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Andberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolverine Attack Squad's Kenny Fågel got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olle Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Billberg in the 13th minute of play forced Lyckeby FF's goalkeeper Joseph Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Wolverine Attack Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Nyman came free, but Ingvar Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Nyman in the 20th minute of the match. Ingvar Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kenny Fågel's late challenge caught a Lyckeby FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Fågel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lyckeby FF booed when Wolverine Attack Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Fågel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Hedman having to interfere. Ingvar Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Hydén in the 34th minute of play forced Lyckeby FF's goalkeeper Joseph Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Kenny Fågel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Hedman skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Lyckeby FF's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Henriksson came free, but Joseph Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Nyman to strike the kick off in the second half. Olle Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Kenny Fågel put in a rough tackle. Bengt-Rune Skytt made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wolverine Attack Squad's Alvar Billberg. If Greger Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lyckeby FF's Joseph Hedman got control of the ball when Greger Hydén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greger Hydén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joseph Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes of play, Lyckeby FF's Patrick Finsberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Andberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lyckeby FF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
