In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agnar af Syrien's goalkeeper Pål Björkkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Agnar af Syrien booed when Huddungeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Huddungeby's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Bergstedt came free, but Jens-Erik Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Agnar af Syrien getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ola Alstedt hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Kjell Hellström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huddungeby and the Agnar af Syrien players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjell Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Huddungeby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Åke Sörman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Huddungeby's Jens-Erik Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Bergstedt in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Agnar af Syrien's Egon Berggren got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ragnar Högström's late challenge caught a Huddungeby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ragnar Högström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Agnar af Syrien getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ragnar Högström hit a great ball. Sven-Åke Sörman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jens-Erik Sjöberg made a huge save.
