Nils-Erik Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Erik Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Utter, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 14th match minute, Dingle FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Åberg to maneuver through the defense. Erling Johansson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marcus Lidström sent off a good shot on target. After 21 minutes of play, Dingle FF's Göran Ahlfors made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Glad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dingle FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Ahlfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Glad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dingle FF's goalkeeper Erling Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Nils Utter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Erik Glad. Klövsjö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Utter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nils Utter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolf Nässén was the one to do the kick off. If Stig Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Dingle FF's Nils-Erik Glad threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Göran Ahlfors, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 57 minutes, Nils Utter made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Klövsjö's Nils-Erik Glad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dingle FF's Nils Utter got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
