Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Ove Stenman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jim Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stenman in the 9th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Sparta Maximus got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Larsson. The supporters of Sparta Maximus booed when Huddungeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Huddungeby's Jimmie Petersson got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Allan Hjelm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jens-Erik Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Ove Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sven-Ove Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Sparta Maximus's Timmy Damm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Damm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Hjelm charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Hjelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sparta Maximus getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Allan Hjelm hit a great ball. Kjell Hellström might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Hellqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell Hellström ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Huddungeby's Kjell Hellström got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 67th minute Sven-Ove Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Hellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Erik Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Damm, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Sven-Ove Stenman had several of the Sparta Maximus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Jim Hellqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 78th minute, Sven-Ove Stenman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Pär Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparta Maximus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huddungeby the free kick. After 89 minutes of play, Huddungeby's Sven-Ove Stenman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Hellqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timmy Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huddungeby's Jens-Erik Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Västerberg in the 96th minute of play. Huddungeby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
