The referee ignored Lyckeby FF's protests and gave Gert Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. Gert Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Erling Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Göran Ahlfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Hedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
