Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Bergstedt started the match with the kick off. Olov Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Björkkvist having to interfere. Anton Bergstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Åke Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Birger Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torparcanons IF's Kim Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pål Björkkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Holmgren in the 25th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Olov Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Holmgren in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Björkkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the game, Olov Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pål Björkkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the game, Egon Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agnar af Syrien's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torparcanons IF the free kick. In the 46th minute, Egon Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Åke Sörman during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Agnar af Syrien's Sven-Åke Sörman got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute Torparcanons IF were awarded a corner. Olov Holmgren went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Holmgren got free with Pål Björkkvist in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Olov Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Björkkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Agnar af Syrien's zone, Olov Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Björkkvist came out of the goal and Olov Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ted Söderlund struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Pål Björkkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torparcanons IF. Pål Björkkvist came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Torparcanons IF's Olov Holmgren. But to his dismay, Olov Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Jonasson in the 75th minute of play forced Agnar af Syrien's goalkeeper Pål Björkkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Pål Björkkvist made a huge save. Torparcanons IF's Olov Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-4 became the score in the 87th minute when Olov Holmgren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olov Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pål Björkkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Agnar af Syrien fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Torparcanons IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
