Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Villegas Manzardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olov Linquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herkko Alenius in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Herkko Alenius could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Olov Linquist however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Selånger SK's Sten Askberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. Herkko Alenius struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Olov Linquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selånger SK. 22 minutes into the match, Selånger SK's goal looked a bit too open when Villegas Manzardo came free, but Fred Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herkko Alenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Olov Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Herkko Alenius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Hammers's Olov Linquist. Olov Linquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herkko Alenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Linquist having to interfere. Herkko Alenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Linquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herkko Alenius made a kick off. Selånger SK's Fred Gunnarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Selånger SK from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, The Hammers's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Cupial came free, but Olov Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Herkko Alenius made a precise shot to the right of Olov Linquist. The Hammers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 62 played minutes The Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Villegas Manzardo. Herkko Alenius struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Olov Linquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selånger SK. In the 71st minute, Herkko Alenius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selånger SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sven-Edvin Skoglund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, one of Selånger SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edvin Forssell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Wennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Selånger SK's Daniel Skröder got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nils Alebeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selånger SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
