The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Charlie Haraldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The tension between the Löderup FF and the Upper East Side players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Upper East Side booed when Löderup FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Elg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Haraldsson in the 22nd minute of play. When Per-Olof Vennerberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Löderup FF's protests and gave Per-Olof Vennerberg a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Olof Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Upper East Side's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Haraldsson came free, but Viktor Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Charlie Haraldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Esbjörn Bergman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Elg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Löderup FF's Esbjörn Bergman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Elg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After having played for 53 minutes, Charlie Haraldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Löderup FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Haraldsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Upper East Side's Viktor Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Bergman in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Esbjörn Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charlie Haraldsson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Elg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlie Haraldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. If Charlie Haraldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Upper East Side's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Haraldsson came free, but Viktor Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Carlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Viktor Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Upper East Side getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alf Öberg hit a great ball. Upper East Side's Viktor Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Haraldsson in the 76th minute of play. If Charlie Haraldsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Löderup FF's Vilhelm Carlberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Charlie Haraldsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upper East Side's Viktor Elg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Löderup FF were the better team. Löderup FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
