An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Godholm in the 8th minute of play forced Upper East Side's goalkeeper Viktor Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Mattias Ahlbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doloures Price and the Upper East Side players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viktor Elg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Godholm's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Upper East Side defense, Sven-Åke Eliasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Elg. The Upper East Side fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Elg should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Doloures Price's Adrian Waller got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Michael Godholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doloures Price's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Godholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Elg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 played minutes Doloures Price got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Frisk. In the 42ndth minute of the game Sven-Åke Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Upper East Side's Viktor Elg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Michael Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Elg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Doloures Price's Joachim Björklund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Viktor Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Godholm in the 49th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Godholm made a kick off. Upper East Side were furious when Emanuel Lind was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Upper East Side:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Doloures Price:s goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Upper East Side's goalkeeper Viktor Elg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Björklund in the 66th minute of play forced Upper East Side's goalkeeper Viktor Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Åke Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. Viktor Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Godholm in the 72nd minute of the match. Doloures Price's Joachim Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Upper East Side was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Siggman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Joachim Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doloures Price's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Upper East Side got a freekick which was hit by Emil Myr. Viktor Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Godholm in the 90th minute. Michael Godholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Viktor Elg made a huge save. Alf Öberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Doloures Price's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
