In the 3rd match minute, Gällivare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Lundin to maneuver through the defense. Norråker FF's Fredrik Asplund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anders Bäckman but with some difficulty. Anders Bäckman was a little too slow when Sebastian Wennerqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Viggo Lindqvist took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Britz. Daniel Britz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Gällivare BK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andy Lidberg hit a great ball. Anders Bäckman made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Sebastian Wennerqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Gällivare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Asplund got free with Anders Bäckman in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Gällivare BK got a freekick which was hit by David Malmgren. In the 32nd minute of the match Fredrik Asplund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Bäckman skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Wennerqvist in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Bäckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anders Bäckman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Käcker in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Andy Lidberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Norråker FF's Daniel Britz. Daniel Britz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Viggo Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gällivare BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Viggo Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Britz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Wennerqvist was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gällivare BK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bo Brandt hit a great ball. Anders Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Andy Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gällivare BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Lidberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The Gällivare BK fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Gällivare BK's Viggo Lindqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andy Lidberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Daniel Britz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Gällivare BK's Václav Bartůšek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Britz. Daniel Britz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 80th minute, Jim Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norråker FF's Tage Malmberg suffered a concussion in the 88th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Andy Lidberg fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gällivare BK's protests and gave Andy Lidberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Norråker FF booed when Gällivare BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Lidberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Britz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Lidberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Andy Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Brandt got free with Daniel Britz in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
