The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilgot Carlberg during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Doloures Price booed when Stockholm Nord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doloures Price's Michael Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stockholm Nord's Jon Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Björklund in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Godholm in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Kihlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Stockholm Nord's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Eliasson came free, but Jon Kihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doloures Price made a substitution. John Blomqvist replaced Jonny Frisk. The wind increased when Harald Vibjörnsson made the kick off in the second half.
