Viggo Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jakob Breen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erling Hamnberg fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gällivare BK's protests and gave Erling Hamnberg a yellow card for diving instead. Anders Bäckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Andy Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gällivare BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Lidberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomir Hejza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Viggo Lindqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jakob Breen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jakob Breen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Lidberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viggo Lindqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Anders Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Hellgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vångens AIS's goalkeeper Jakob Breen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Gällivare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Anders Bäckman was a little too slow when Håkan Wall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
