Anders Bäckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Colin in the 28th minute of play. Vilhelm Ivarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andy Lidberg went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes BoysInDahoud got a freekick which was hit by Joar Bennet. After a defensive mix-up in BoysInDahoud's zone, Viggo Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Ivarsson came out of the goal and Viggo Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Tommy Forssberg in the 47th minute really tested Anders Bäckman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 47 minutes, Ian Lundin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gällivare BK and the BoysInDahoud players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Gällivare BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Lundin to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Colin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Lindblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Mathias Gadd notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gällivare BK's Anders Bäckman. Anders Bäckman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd match minute, BoysInDahoud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. Gällivare BK were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after BoysInDahoud's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven-Olof Bergsten took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BoysInDahoud's goalie and right to Andy Lidberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BoysInDahoud's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Andy Lidberg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vilhelm Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gällivare BK. Andy Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viggo Lindqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vilhelm Ivarsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Gällivare BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Gadd came free, but Anders Bäckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BoysInDahoud supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gällivare BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Gällivare BK.
