The audience was convinced that Svante Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Elg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Svante Lundgren struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Viktor Elg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slaktarna AB. Svante Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Lundgren in the 24th minute of play forced Upper East Side's goalkeeper Viktor Elg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustav Alkvist in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakarias Lindkvist saved Slaktarna AB from getting behind. Svante Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. Alf Öberg's late challenge caught a Slaktarna AB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Öberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Slaktarna AB booed when Upper East Side was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Alkvist was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Elg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Alberg's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Håkan Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alf Öberg was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Alf Öberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Svante Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Viktor Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Slaktarna AB's Svante Lundgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktor Elg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Emil Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upper East Side's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Myr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Sakarias Lindkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Upper East Side's Håkan Blomqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rolf Alberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svante Lundgren in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Elg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Freddie Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Upper East Side's protests and gave Freddie Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. Freddie Johansson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rolf Alberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Upper East Side's goalkeeper Viktor Elg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play, Slaktarna AB's Svante Lundgren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Svante Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Elg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Slaktarna AB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Upper East Side for a fine match.
