After a defensive mix-up in Aspabruk BF's zone, Albert Myr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Andersson came out of the goal and Albert Myr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Roland Ahlroth hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Karl-Magnus Öberg lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skillingsfors! The referee gave Aspabruk BF a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valter Abrahamsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skillingsfors's Timmy Carlsson. 1-0. Daniel Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dan Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmy Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Ekegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skillingsfors's goalkeeper Timmy Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Tomas Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Andersson having to interfere. Timmy Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ekegren in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aspabruk BF's Gustav Back got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Skillingsfors booed when Aspabruk BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Skillingsfors getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adam Västerberg hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Simon Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timmy Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tomas Ståhlman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Dan Andersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mikael Häger kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Skillingsfors defense, Simon Zachrisson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timmy Carlsson. The Skillingsfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timmy Carlsson should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Tomas Ståhlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Zachrisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Skillingsfors got a freekick which was hit by Dick Söderberg. Skillingsfors's Timmy Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Zachrisson in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aspabruk BF had won after a very even match.
