Bertil Fogel's late challenge caught a The FlyFishers Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Fogel helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Skillingsfors got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Fogel. Timmy Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Kiempe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, The FlyFishers Club's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Myr came free, but Karl-Erik Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Albert Myr made the kick off in the second half. Albert Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Karl-Erik Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skillingsfors's Timmy Carlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Skillingsfors from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Pedersson in the 95th minute of play forced Skillingsfors's goalkeeper Timmy Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
