Spectators: 7567 (Terracing: 5676, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Ove Helberg started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Hannes Wikander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nils Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grundsund RK's Nils Vennerlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Grundsund RK from getting a goal against them. When Lars-Erik Holm fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grundsund RK's protests and gave Lars-Erik Holm a yellow card for diving instead. Lars-Erik Holm hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Lars-Erik Holm got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 12th match minute, Grundsund RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Holm to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Hannes Wikander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grundsund RK's Nils Vennerlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Grundsund RK from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Axel Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Hannes Wikander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kärrgruvan IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 21 minutes in the game, Axel Brander fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nils Vennerlund having to interfere. Sven-Ove Helberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Grundsund RK's goalkeeper Nils Vennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Ove Helberg. The audience was convinced that Ernst Kruuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Alrot was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th play minute Sven-Ove Helberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nils Vennerlund. 4-0. 42 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Helberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils Vennerlund. Sven-Ove Helberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernst Kruuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Brander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grundsund RK's Nils Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Helberg in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Fabio Horduña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nils Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nils Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Helberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Fabio Horduña scored 7-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Vennerlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Hannes Wikander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kärrgruvan IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Nils Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kärrgruvan IF's Sven-Ove Helberg got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Sven-Ove Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Oskar Smitt kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sven-Ove Helberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hannes Wikander went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Ernst Kruuse struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Joseph Alrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grundsund RK. When the referee ended the match the Kärrgruvan IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
