Kosmos United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Lööf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 37th minute, Kosmos United's Rutger Biörkman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Rutger Biörkman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Morgan Gulliksson came out and tried to block the shot, but Rutger Biörkman slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 41st minute. Marcus Bure charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Bure the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Marcus Bure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Leif Paulin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rutger Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Morgan Gulliksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolus Rex's Carl Fransson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robert Harman, made in the 61st minute of the game. Jens-Erik Kjellberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Felix Bratt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th minute Georg Lööf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutger Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Morgan Gulliksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Erik Kjellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Felix Bratt made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Kosmos United's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lööf came free, but Felix Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kosmos United were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carolus Rex to leave the ground with a draw.
