In the 3rd minute, Ömer Rıza Kutel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skogsbackens IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Skogsbackens IK booed when Domarnas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Åkerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Skogsbackens IK's Carlos Garcés nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Strömbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 18thth minute of the game Carlos Garcés who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Domarnas IF's Hubert Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Robert Asklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Strömbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Strömbom didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Skogsbackens IK's Carlos Garcés shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Gustaf Bivall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Strömbom was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Carlos Garcés managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skogsbackens IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Garcés was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Strömbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Gustaf Bivall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Strömbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 37th minute, Gustaf Bivall made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Strömbom. Domarnas IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Hubert Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domarnas IF's Hubert Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Garcés in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Domarnas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Wiman to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Skogsbackens IK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Mark Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Sandström in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Björkdal in the 55th minute of play forced Skogsbackens IK's goalkeeper Mark Granström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Strömbom came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Skogsbackens IK's Jens-Ove Sörman. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Sörman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Robert Asklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Strömbom having to interfere. Domarnas IF's Hubert Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Garcés in the 62nd minute of play. Niclas Sandström struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mark Granström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domarnas IF. After a rather tough play, Domarnas IF's André Björkdal got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Domarnas IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Kutel came free, but Hubert Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Garcés kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hubert Strömbom. That made the score 0-8 in the 69 minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Domarnas IF's goalkeeper Hubert Strömbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Kevin Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludvig Sundin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hubert Strömbom. Domarnas IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Garcés fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Strömbom having to interfere. Hubert Strömbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer Rıza Kutel in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Carlos Garcés had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Strömbom. Domarnas IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Garcés was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. Hubert Strömbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Asklund in the 96th minute. Skogsbackens IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
