The crowd rose to their feet as Magnus Ahlbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Bratt. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Kosmos United's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Holm came free, but Felix Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Magnus Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Kosmos United's Rutger Biörkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Tor Bergvall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nils Vennerlund made a huge save. The supporters of Kosmos United booed when Grundsund RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Grundsund RK's Börje Engström made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Bratt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Kosmos United's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Ahlbom came free, but Felix Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Kosmos United's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Engström came free, but Felix Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Nordin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
