Jesper Böcklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alf Galle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Svartengren having to interfere. In the 19th minute, BK Tåfjutt's Staffan Berglund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Lars-Erik Botvidsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesper Böcklund. BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Staffan Berglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Ove Svartengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Staffan Berglund ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 28 minutes, Rickard Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Tåfjutt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Bolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when Lajksjöberg IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alf Galle managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Tåfjutt's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Galle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Ove Svartengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, BK Tåfjutt's Staffan Berglund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Lajksjöberg IFK's Sven-Ove Svartengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Lajksjöberg IFK from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Staffan Berglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesper Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Hermansson in the 57th minute of play. If Rickard Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Rickard Bolin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Sven-Ove Svartengren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 minutes, Staffan Berglund made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lajksjöberg IFK's Sven-Ove Svartengren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesper Böcklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Wallgren in the 80th minute. Staffan Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
