After a defensive mix-up in The Black StarZ's zone, Jörgen Bjurström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Klementsson came out of the goal and Jörgen Bjurström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Nils Liedholm IF from getting a goal against them. Ralf Klementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Bjurström in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, The Black StarZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Österlund came free, but Ralf Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Nils Liedholm IF's Kalle Norström made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Klementsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Birger Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Nils Liedholm IF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcus Ek made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ove Hake. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörgen Bjurström took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Klementsson. Ralf Klementsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Bjurström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Klementsson was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd match minute, The Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Karl Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hake having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Birger Kleen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralf Klementsson. The goal made the score 0-7. Ralf Klementsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Jörgen Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Klementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Kleen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ralf Klementsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Birger Kleen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Birger Kleen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ralf Klementsson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Österlund got free with Ralf Klementsson in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes The Black StarZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Ek. Ralf Klementsson was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Jörgen Bjurström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörgen Bjurström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. When the match was over Nils Liedholm IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Black StarZ throughout the match.
