After a defensive mix-up in Ljusfallshammar IK's zone, Jesper Igelström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Forsberg came out of the goal and Jesper Igelström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fritz Forsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Robert Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Forsberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Sigvard Mogren hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vitesharks's Jörgen Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Vitesharks from getting a goal against them.
