Magnus Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vilhelm Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kenya Kickers's protests and gave Vilhelm Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Vilhelm Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Bergfelt in the 24th minute of the match. Egon Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonathan Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Habo's Egon Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Sjö in the 33rd minute of play. Egon Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Klintæus in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Allan Abelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tunberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Magnus Klintæus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kenya Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Klintæus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Lindqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erland Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Abelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Klintæus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Abelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Lindqvist having to interfere. With his leg Egon Lindqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Kenya Kickers's Stig Erserman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stig Erserman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenya Kickers's Gösta Sjö got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magnus Klintæus in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Lindqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenya Kickers's Henry Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Hedlund in the 70th minute of play. If Stig Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Habo's Egon Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Klintæus in the 74th minute of play. Henry Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute Erland Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
