Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Habo's Erling Bergfelt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fritz Forsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erling Bergfelt's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Erling Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Forsberg having to interfere. Nils-Emil Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 played minutes Habo got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Bolander. After 12 minutes, Erling Bergfelt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Habo and the Ljusfallshammar IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Habo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erling Bergfelt hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nils-Emil Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljusfallshammar IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Emil Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Lindqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Habo's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Örtlund came free, but Egon Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Erling Bergfelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Forsberg. Ljusfallshammar IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Bergfelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Ljusfallshammar IK's Fritz Forsberg got control of the ball when Erland Hedlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Erling Bergfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ljusfallshammar IK's Sigvard Mogren got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Michel Wenerdahl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Forsberg skillfully saved the ball. Fritz Forsberg was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Erland Hedlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erland Hedlund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Erling Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Forsberg having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Emil Lindström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erland Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conny Örtlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Egon Lindqvist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Bergfelt in the 70th minute of play forced Ljusfallshammar IK's goalkeeper Fritz Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Allan Abelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fritz Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Habo's Egon Lindqvist got control of the ball when Conny Örtlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ljusfallshammar IK's Fritz Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bergfelt in the 84th minute of play. If Erling Bergfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Erland Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ljusfallshammar IK defense, Sten Lindblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fritz Forsberg. The Ljusfallshammar IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fritz Forsberg should have stopped the shot. When Erland Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Habo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Hedlund couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ljusfallshammar IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Habo.
