With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Tunberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the game, Gösta Sjö was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenya Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitesharks the free kick. Gösta Sjö hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Wiktor Svensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörgen Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Löfdahl during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vitesharks booed when Kenya Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Kruuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Nilsson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Tunberg saved Kenya Kickers from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Robert Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Tunberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Nilsson in the 28th minute of play forced Kenya Kickers's goalkeeper Henry Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenya Kickers's Henry Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Nilsson in the 29th minute of play. Jörgen Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Erserman in the 40th minute. Robert Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tunberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Samuelsson in the 68th minute of play forced Kenya Kickers's goalkeeper Henry Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Stig Erserman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kenya Kickers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 77th minute of the match, Robert Nilsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henry Tunberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jörgen Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Klintæus, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Johannes Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Henry Tunberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Samuelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Henry Tunberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kenya Kickers succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vitesharks had controlled the match.
