Henrik Hermansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The excitement rose when BK Bröt's Börje Willig after 10 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bro FF's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. Bro FF's Henrik Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Linberg in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Bro FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Linberg came free, but Henrik Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BK Bröt's Viggo Benet got control of the ball when Egil Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Hjelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Henrik Hermansson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Bröt's Ted Linberg. But to his dismay, Ted Linberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, BK Bröt's goalkeeper Viggo Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Lindholm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Bjurström in the 25th minute of play forced BK Bröt's goalkeeper Viggo Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Linberg in the 26th minute of the match. Henrik Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Börje Willig notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bro FF's Henrik Hermansson. In the 37th minute Wictor Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bro FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Hermansson should have stopped the shot. The Bro FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Bröt were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Hjelm to make the kick off. Viggo Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Juhlin in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Alf Hjelm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Bröt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bro FF the free kick. Alf Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Viggo Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Juhlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Brandin in the 57th minute of the match. Henrik Hermansson was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Ted Linberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ted Linberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Henrik Hermansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 76 minutes into the game, Fredric Lilja threw the ball into play from the sideline. BK Bröt's Karl-Johan Söderberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Henrik Hermansson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alf Hjelm sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 79 minutes, Börje Willig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Bröt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Willig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Hermansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ted Linberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 81 minute of play. Bro FF's Fredric Lilja managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karl-Johan Söderberg in the 84 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Lilja during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Wictor Asplund fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Bröt's protests and gave Wictor Asplund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bro FF booed when BK Bröt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bro FF's Henrik Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Bro FF from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Alf Hjelm made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Hermansson. Bro FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. When the final whistle sounded BK Bröt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bro FF.
