Esbjörn Asmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Asplund in the 27th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Mozarella FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Ödman came free, but Esbjörn Asmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristoffer Söderlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Asmundsson having to make a save. If Ove Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Unnaryd's Viktor Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Zander in the 43rd minute of play. Kaj Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Richard Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaj Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Asmundsson having to interfere. Erik Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Esbjörn Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mozarella FC's zone, Richard Fransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Asmundsson came out of the goal and Richard Fransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Kristoffer Söderlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Asmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Esbjörn Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Kaj Ödman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esbjörn Asmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Asplund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Engström hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, Unnaryd's Kaj Ödman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Asmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Richard Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unnaryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Asmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Tobias Torstensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Asmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Vester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Unnaryd players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
