The referee ignored Esarp IF's protests and gave Patrik Kristiansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Esarp IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Patrik Kristiansson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Esarp IF defense, Osvald Helemäe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Albom. The Esarp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Albom should have stopped the shot. After 13 minutes, Carl Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esarp IF and the Monsters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carl Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Joar Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Rivas in the 21st minute of play. If Nicklas Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Patrik Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esarp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Kristiansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Steenberghs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Monsters booed when Esarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Nicklas Lustig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Albom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Esarp IF booed when Monsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Osvald Helemäe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Albom was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Gustavo Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Albom having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Esarp IF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Nyman. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvald Helemäe made a kick off. After some careless play in the Esarp IF defense, Gustavo Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Albom. The Esarp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Albom should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Monsters's Nicklas Lustig ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gunnar Albom. Gunnar Albom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Lustig in the 60th minute of play forced Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Nicklas Lustig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Albom. Nicklas Lustig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Gunnar Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Helemäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Esarp IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Edgar Pyrtek hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Edgar Pyrtek put in a rough tackle. Gunnar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Helemäe in the 80th minute of play. Måns Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Steenberghs having to interfere. Gunnar Albom came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Monsters's Gustavo Rivas. But to his dismay, Gustavo Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When Albin Frisck came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Monsters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Frisck couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Monsters booed when Esarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Gustavo Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monsters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esarp IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Monsters's Osvald Helemäe got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gunnar Albom. Hans Steenberghs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kristiansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicklas Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Monsters could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Esarp IF throughout the match.
