Brunflo IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Edvin Snäll came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Brunflo IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvin Snäll couldn't finish the play. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Ahlén came free, but Gunnar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Hermansson's late challenge caught a Brunflo IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Måns Hermansson helped the player get up and apologised. Gunnar Albom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Lindström went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute John Hedbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Harlén having to interfere. Brunflo IK's Viktor Sundström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gunnar Albom but with some difficulty. The supporters of Esarp IF booed when Brunflo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Edgar Pyrtek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklas Harlén skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Malmberg got free with Gunnar Albom in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Malmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gunnar Albom made a huge save. Anders Malmberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gunnar Albom firmly grabbed it by the left post.
