Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rikard Hermansson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Stellan Jonsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Arnäs IF's goalkeeper Jürg Fahlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stellan Jonsson. Jürg Fahlgren was a little too slow when Bernt Bammerman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arnäs IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roger Martinsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Zero XT's players had a chance to rest. Roger Martinsson made a great header on Zero XT's corner, it was just that Arnäs IF's Jürg Fahlgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Vilhelm Frisk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jürg Fahlgren having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Stellan Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Arnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Bammerman came free, but Jürg Fahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Bammerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Helge Wik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Bammerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Vilhelm Frisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürg Fahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Bammerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jürg Fahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Bammerman struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jürg Fahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zero XT. In the 75th minute Bernt Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürg Fahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tor Hult made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rikard Hermansson in the 85th minute. The supporters of Arnäs IF booed when Zero XT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Arnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Bammerman came free, but Jürg Fahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zero XT could leave the field as winners, despite Arnäs IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
