Jalladå's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kennet Alebeck in the 11th minute. The corner ended in Leo Runberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom did a great save. 13 minutes into the match, Esarp IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Albom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Gadd. 16 minutes into the match, Jalladå's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Kristiansson came free, but Claes Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Hermansson took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Tidén. Gunnar Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Måns Hermansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esarp IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 43rd minute Patrik Kristiansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Tidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jalladå's Kennet Alebeck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esarp IF. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Kristiansson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Kristiansson in the 55th minute of play forced Jalladå's goalkeeper Claes Tidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Spetz in the 85th minute of play. Gunnar Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Spetz in the 87th minute of play. Krister Gadd scored 1-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
