The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jürg Fahlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krister Gadd went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10thth minute of the game Krister Gadd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnäs IF's Jürg Fahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Spetz in the 14th minute of play forced Arnäs IF's goalkeeper Jürg Fahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jürg Fahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Gadd in the 16th minute of play. Jalladå's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Rikard Hermansson scored to the left of an out of position Claes Tidén, making the score, 1-2. Rikard Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Claes Tidén made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rikard Hermansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Claes Tidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rikard Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Tidén having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Arne Söderkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anaba Fahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Tidén having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Hampus Spetz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jürg Fahlgren. Hampus Spetz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Jürg Fahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Spetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Arnäs IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Krister Gadd 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. In the 96th minute, Anders Clementsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Arnäs IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jalladå's performance. The match ended with a win for Jalladå.
